Lets Together Combat Against Corona Virus

In these extremely challenging times, I would like to share our heartfelt support and solidarity with you and your families. As an organization with a higher purpose, we have both a commitment and a responsibility to work in the best interest of our organization, community as well as our country more broadly.

We are taking actions to make sure that our staff remains safe and well, and that every Encraft partner and customer feels supported and connected. We are encouraging all partners to talk to us, and each other, in this time of isolation and confusion. At Encraft, the health and safety of our colleagues, customers, partners, and the communities in which we operate is our number one priority. We have a 60-year legacy of responsible business and we are committed to doing all we can to keep everyone safe.

The Government of India is working at breakneck pace 24*7 in making massive efforts towards prevention, and containing the spread, including strengthening surveillance, laboratory capacity, contact tracking and isolation and risk communications to keep the country and people safe and healthy.

India is a secular country where many cultures and religions are flourishing with peace and prosperity because “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (means the world is one family) has been the guiding light for the Indian family system since Vedic or ancient times and is deeply rooted within the minds and hearts of people. India has tremendous capabilities and capacity to deal with any crisis and it has successfully emerged victorious many times.

However, one thing remains—when we stand with our neighbors through moments that seem dark, we come out even stronger for it

The disruptions caused by the virus are harmful to not only people and their wellbeing, but to the crucial work that we do. That is why we are making plans to ensure we can continue to research, campaign, and support the invaluable work with our usual enthusiasm and commitment. We have been taking strict precautions to protect our colleagues and their families while securing customer service. Furthermore, we have extensive contingency plans in place securing our supply chain and ongoing business.

We are supporting our staff to work from home as much as they can, using online co-working technologies. We are also holding regular online consultations to keep up to date with the rapidly changing situation, so that we can advise and assist our workforce as quickly as possible.

In the fight against Covid-19, Prime Minister’s(Mr.Narendra Modi) call for social distancing had received widespread community support across India, the country’s 1.3 billion people from all walks of life stayed at home during “Janata Curfew” from 7:00 am-9:00 pm and showed to the world that when faced with a crisis, all Indians can come together to combat it.

At Around 5pm, people came out of their balconies, windows and courtyards and responded by blowing conch shells, singing patriotic songs and banging drums and appreciating the selfless work of medics, nurses and sanitation workers. This kind gesture has spread massive amounts of positive energy in the country, which gave a boost to the people serving the country on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19

In an attempt to stem the spread of the coronavirus in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (24th Mar’2020) announced country to lock down for 3 weeks. As such, all the citizens of India together have expressed their solidarity in its fight against coronavirus and are fulfilling the 21 days lockdown with utter dedication and responsibility to help break the chain on transmission and in flattering the curve of coronavirus.

This is a time of uncertainty for all of us, and even though there are many questions, we cannot yet answer due to the swiftly changing nature of this situation. However, by following appropriate measures recommended by WHO, we could protect others and ourselves. Nevertheless, we feel strongly, based on scientific and, medical evidence, that taking these steps now to create social distancing will reduce the likelihood of infection.

Let us all carry patience, disciple, togetherness, and strong faith that India will surely emerge victorious from this deadly outbreak and can change the trajectory of this pandemic and show the world the true greatness of the country.

I sincerely wish and pray that with CORONAVIRUS impact going forward, no one and all of those affected regain normalcy and health very fast, do take adequate care and precautions to avoid any vulnerability from this unprecedented monster. Let us together pass-through this pandemic responsible and gracefully.

May God Bless you and I wish you all a very Happy and Healthy- 2021.
